Living in Tucson, I get the pleasure of seeing riders on horseback nearly everyday.
Makes it feel like the wild, wild west.
In fact, Tucson Rodeo is coming up.
"Each February since 1925, Tucsonans saddle their horses, hitch up their buggies
and shine their cowboy boots for the Celebration of the Cowboys.
February 19-27, marks the 86th Annual La Fiesta de los Vaqueros,
a nine-day event highlighted by the Tucson Rodeo, a six-day professional rodeo."
Many businesses are closed and the schools even give the kids a few days off!
I'm taking my son this year, and it's our first time, so I'm really looking forward to it!

There is a different breed of "cowboy" here in Oklahoma. It's less of a wild west feeling and more of an overweight, drunken redneck vibe. It's not sexy is what I'm saying. Your cowboys, on the other hand, sound quite nice. Have fun!
